Round and round I go on this preparedness journey. Everything I read, I plan to do the same as the author, everything I watch, I plan to do the same. I do make a start, but I always seem to flounder, whether that’s days, weeks, or months later. What can I do to maintain my plans, look after my tools, and test my skills? Life always seems to get in the way. Whether it’s work, taking care of the kids, or keeping on top of the house, something always pops up. I recently renovated my kitchen, which has given us much more storage. In my mind, I plan what I can store and how to organise it efficiently. Then life throws another curveball, hidden jobs appear and need sorting, a birthday invite comes through the door, and guess who's going.
